Town centre project group
With the town centre vision report published and consultation undertaken, the tasks set for the original project group (listed further down page) have been completed.
A new project group, as below, has been established to take the project forward, with new terms of reference. All members are serving on the group in a personal capacity and are residents of Wiveliscombe.
Dave Mansell (Chair) – Other interests: Somerset West and Taunton Councillor for Wiveliscombe and District, and Somerset County Councillor for Upper Tone.
Peter Berman – Other interests: Wiveliscombe Town Councillor.
Francesca Croft – Other interests: Wiveliscombe Community Centre.
Eddie East – Other interests: Wiveliscombe Area Partnership.
Heather Harvey – Other interests: Wivey Larder, 10 Parishes Business Group and Jim Laker Fund.
Emma Jones – Other interests: Wiveliscombe Town Hall Trust.
Pauline McNichol – Other interests: Wiveliscombe Town Councillor and Vice-Chair of the Jim Laker Fund.
Julian Mellor – Other interests: Director of 2MD Regeneration and project manager for Wiveliscombe Town Hall restoration.

Place-making sub-group
The sub-group was appointed by the Town Recovery Steering Group, which also established the sub-group’s Terms of Reference. Relevant interests have been recorded and are shown below. All members are serving on the group in a personal capacity and are residents of Wiveliscombe. This group was in place until the end of June 2022.
