The project group has carefully considered the consultation feedback and published a response to the comments and suggestions made. These can be viewed in the following documents:
Reflecting the consultation response, a slightly revised version of the town centre vision has been published. This summarises the changes and vision now proposed for Wiveliscombe town centre.
The consultation on the proposals and vision in the final report closed at the end of June. There has been a good response with about 200 giving feedback and over 60 comments submitted. The project group will now carefully consider all the feedback given, and will then publish reports on the consultation and next steps.
The results and analysis of the October 2021 survey can now be found on the survey page. Parking and traffic dominated the responses although without any consensus as to the problem or the solutions. There was more consensus about the run-down appearance of The Square and the need for better maintenance of both the public areas and the buildings.
